need answers about mid pipe, headers, intakem, cam etc!!
i am looking to dump some cash into my 88 gt vert! It is totally stock except for the magnaflow mufflers.
need some suggestions on how to beef up my stang to add some beast power and give it that deep roar. I want to add this summer:
o/r H or X pipe - leaning towards h pipe
Headers (long or unequal?)
Cam
Intake
I am basically a newbie so bare with me heh
I been reading the forums and peeps are taking about upgrading heads? now would this be the headers? or are headers and heads totally different? Also i heard if installing an intake its probably worth while to install a cam aswell?
What manufacturer/type should i be looking for and any other info would be much appreciated!!
Thanks in advance

A lot of what you asked depends on how much you want to spend.
As for X or H pipe, thats personal taste. Decide which sounds better to you. For the headers, how much are you looking to spend? Long tubes are significantly more expensive.
Headers and heads are completely different. The heads sit on top of the cylinders and have the valves actuated by the camshaft. To answer your cam question, I'd always recommend getting a custom grind, but for you I'd stay stock for now, especially if you're keeping the stock heads. An explorer upper and lower intake is always a good and cheap upgrade.
