hey guys, im selling a FRPP Super duty T5 on craigs, and new the trans cost 1100 bucks, and its about 5 years old, dirty, and without a shifter, part numer M 7003 Z D0122 1352 249 18125 my question is, i was asking 500, being the only problem being a slightly worn 5th synchro and being dirty, but a guy wanting to buy it is offering 300, Im wondering, is he lowballing me, or am i asking too much, how much do you think i should be able to get for this trans?

settle on 400 its right between what your asking, or take his number and if u cant sell it try negotating in the future

I think I have a syncro that came out of my tremec left over if you want one. Only one that i replaced had teeth rounded off.

kinda hard saying... i've bought fresh rebuilt t5's for $500

it's worth what your asking for... but you might have to sit on it

syncro or blocker ring is bad? that'll make the difference in cost right there.

how can you tell how worn the parts are without disassembly? friction disks on the blockers still in good condition? that'll also determin the life span of the trans. i'd take 300 and run.
