dual sump oil pan?

Default dual sump oil pan?

any thing i have to change to run a dual sump oil pan? whats the hole on the side of the oil pan for? it has the 2 on the bottom for drains

If your 5.0 is in a fox mustang you already have a dual sump pan. The hole in the side is the one most likly for your low oil sensor. The dipstick goes into the block not the pan.

thats what i thought. and yes its a fox. i just seen a chrome one for super cheap at a closeout sale at the speed shop so i [icked it up. now its gonna be a pain to change

Don't waste your time on a chrome pan. Chrome holds in alot more heat. Part of the performance game is to get rid of access heat because it is bad for the engine. If you want a pretty oil pan just wait until you have a reason to pull the motor and just paint it.
