Default building a 331

Soon i want to build a 331 stroker for my 94 GT. Just wondering who here has one and how much did it cost to build. Also if you know how much power is it making. thanks

i have one and its making about 400 hp and about 330 rwhp.

I've also got one, but went the expensive route
311rwhp and 330rwtq at an 8.5:1 compression ratio.
Reason being is for boost later on down the line.

Roughly,it really all depends on what cam,intake,heads,compression ratio,etc.You could probaly build a 250rwhp 331 it ya wanted to just through the shortblock in with all factory stuff but who would do a thing like that.

no havnt really thought about the 347. i like what i hear about the 331. i just thought it would be making more rwhp than people are saying. the set up i wanna do would be a costom cam, AFR 185, intake not to sure about yet.. and then soon boost it with like 14 lbs of boost

then it would be a lot more then those numbers but you need a aftermarket block for that

Really?? i thought someone said the 5.0 block would be fine around 500 hp? if i have to get a new block for those future mods thats going to cost me big time..
