How many vaccum lines are there on a 95?? O one thought.. Would my PCV cause this? in the backside of my intake is where its located but Im unsure where it goes. I dont have a very good diagram..
That def sounds like vacuum if it hangs at 2000 and slowly comes down.

Okay I have every vacuum line checked that i can find and she is still running hella Lean.. Im worried im gonna mess my new motor up because of this.. She really is starving for fuel. My engine is bored .40 over, are the stock 19lb injectors too small and is that why im still powerless? Cause I can intentionally flood my car by stalling it and dicking with it and it runs like I have never seen before. OR is it somthing as simple as a MAF? Im ready to beat my head on the hood right about now.. ON top of it all I drove it to the Barona raceway just outta San Diego today to watch some Nostalgia drags and rat rods and my alternator up and failed on me PLUS i got a header leak.. lost two header bolts.. Im such a sad panda.. Any advice would be great on the issue, yall have been great so far. Thank you

It can still be sucking air through valve covers, manifold, intake (gaskets)......not just hoses. Continue with the split second spray of carb cleaner. Also make sure all your header bolts are snug. Your loosing power there too which I'm sure you already knew that. Give all your valve cover bolts a snug with ease. On my 94 we had problems with the back side (passenger side) of the stock intake always sucking air so check there good. Good luck!

With carbed cars you could put your hand over the air intake or carb while the car was idling and the RPMs would INCREASE if you had a bad vacuum leak. Does that work with FI cars? My two cents, Kelly.

You mentioned you removed the EGR... I'm guessing you put an appropriate spacer and eliminator in there? AFAIK the EGR takes a vacuum line to it...

Just an idea... I'm a newbie when it comes to these cars - but my Taurus ran for 2 years just fine with a borked up EGR, and I spent a bunch of time poking around it .

have you checked fuel pressure yet? the "hanging at 2k" after decel def sounds like vacuume but the rest of the symptoms remind me of my fuel pump when it was going out. Pump or Pressure regulator maybe?

Fuel Pressure is my next objective. I have not put a delete plate over my EGR setup yet because that massive fitting is still attached and i was waiting to build a quick block for it. Im hoping this weekend I can find some time to work on it and narrow down some issues its been having. My Alternator just went out today so I have a lot to deal with in this car of mine.
