Question Help with tranny issue?

Ok, so here's the deal.

For the last few weeks I was having problems shifting in my 95 GT. It was quite hard to shift and sometimes when I tried downshifting into first it would be so hard you'd have to force it in gear. Or when putting it in reverse it would make a loud clunk sound and shake the car.

Well, today I got the tranny fluid topped off then stopped at a local hardware store a few miles away. On the way out I tried putting it in reverse and was so hard I had to use both hands on the shifter, than BOOM it slammed into reverse and the tranny felt like I dumped on the clutch. The car stalled out and I started it up again and low and behold it shifted perfectly into reverse. Now when I have been driving all day today everything was shifting perfectly smooth?? Anyone have a idea of what happended?

Notes.

Clutch replaced 2k miles ago along with fluid.

What did you put in the car for a clutch? Also, do you still have the factory self adjusting clutch quadrant? If so you may have a clutch adjustment issue. Or a clutch engagement/disengagement issue causing intermitent shifting problems.

Yeah I learned that. Mainly by the large grinding sound.
