Ok I have just installed a thermoswitch and relay. I have everything wired. The fan is not coming on. I tried reversing the ignition and thermoswitch wires but then the fan runs when the key is on and engine not running. Anyone with any insight would be appreciated.

how did you wire the relay??? should be done this way...pin 30 to 12v pin 87 to fan power wire, ground wire on fan to ground of body or batt ground, pin 85 to switched 12v and pin 86 to thermoswitch......my thermoswitch was 2 pin so the second pin just went to a ground.......works like a charm

Are you getting the engine hot enough to reach the ON temperature?

I agree, you may have it wired right but the fan is only suposed to be on once the engine reaches operating temp or the a/c is turned on.

Thanks for the help. It comes on right on time. Hope to have it at the track in a few weeks.
