how many hours would be put in on average replacing the whole shebang?

thats a pretty vague question. is it a crate engine. are you using any existing parts off your engine now. all that comes into play. a friend of mine did an engine swap in his and we pulled one from another car and put it in the new one. it took about 2 days(20 hours or so). thats just one instance though. maybe it will help you gauge the time. good luck.

more details please.............ifyou intend to add performance parts , double the down time, if it's just a stock swap over, and the long block is ready to go 20-25 hrs and if you run into issues such as rusted or broken bolts, figure a few more

its just going to be a stock swap over altho there are a few performance parts on the original engine, apparently theres a nitrous system on the car at the risk of looking retarded on this forum i have no idea how to identify it other than that all i can see is a performance intake

^^yep i've helped a couple people on this forum before. like this one which was recent. he's a member on here. here is his hci/wire hide i did. you can always check my build thread in general discusion if you wanna see what i do on my own car. i also do carpentry type work and stuff too.
