Getting ready to put cast gt-40s on my 93 engine and it has an E cam has anyone used this set up with 1.7 roller rockers? I want to buy new roller rockers so if i can use 1.7's id rather get a little extra power

sure you can. you will definitly need to check PTV and get some decent springs

so i need to upgrade the valve springs which ones should i get

E=.498 lift with 1.6 with 1.7 lift is .529 Math is this .498/1.6=311.25x1.7=.529

Thanks just trying to get a game plan goin I want to make sure i wont have any ptv clearance issues hoping someone was running this set-up cause I would hate to buy the 1.7's and then not have enough clearance and be stuck with them

Total valve lift has nothing to do with the possibility of PtV problems. Use FRPP M-6513-A50 single w/damper springs + retainers and locks or TFS springs upgrade kit, buy an adjustable pushrod and check for the correct PR length that setup will require by checking the geometry.
