and you do gain alittle from not having EGR. it cloggs up alot of ****. when i removed mine it had the tube solid clogged. the head was plugged solid

if youre worried about the check engine light you have to get an egr simulator(ebay). now you can either take it off completely for weight or looks, which means an egr eliminator plate(ebay). or you can just unplug it (plug in the simulator if you got one) and plug the vacumm line coming to it. the only problem with eliminating the egr is part throttle detonation. you should run 89 octane, and no more than 14° initial timing. sounds like alot of work for not really any gain at all, except more emissions, and less gas mileage. but its your choice.

I got one of those ebay things for $20us and just made a plate for where the valve goes.
I still get 330kms per tank of gas.
I dont know what mpg that is.
it is way easier to get my throttle body off, it doesnt catch on my strut tower brace anymore, and it just looks better.
then again all my emissions was gone when I bought my car.
