Any kit will fit in your car. It's up to you on where to mount the box and how long to cut the battery positive cable.

Default ground cable source ...

Does the negative ground cable need to extend from the hood/ engine area or can I just ground from in the trunk somewhere?

Just run the ground to a bolt on the body/frame that has some pretty thick metal around it.

nhra guidelines are if the trunk is a seperate compartment than the cabin, it doesnt need to be vented. hatches however MUST be vented.
