Default camshaft dowel pin

does it just slide in and thats it, mine slides easy in and out?
just curious cuz when i put the sprocket on it looks like it could slide out through the sprocket?

the fuel pump eccentric covers it up or in other cases the cam retaining bolts washer partially covers the hole to lock it in place
