351w lifter retainer
 

im trying to finish up my short block and when i went to put the spider/lifter retainer on there is no threads for the spider to go into yet there are holes but they dont match the spider
so my question is, is their a possibility i dont need the spider?

my cam is Xe282Hr hyd roller with comps hyd antipump lifters

people have been saying that the 13 at the end of the engine code is a cleveland?

Its not going to work... your E9 block isnt a "roller" block.. its meant to use flat tappet lifters. you need to get link bar lifters if you intend to use that cam

ya just found that out o well atleast i dont have to take it back to the machine shop im just gonna get teh comp cam retro fit magnum link bar lifters no worries thanks for clarification
