I may be wrong but "J" is the year 1988
"X" is fords assembly plant code Talbotville, Ontario St. Thomas Assembly
so its not a mustang engine they are dearborn "F"
looks like a truck engine.
I know the casting numbers are above the starter. but the numbers he has JX175655 are the cars last 6 vin number stamped on the block behind the intake and it will still tell what it is "j" is the year 1988 "x" is the plant where the car was assembled " Talbotville, Ontario St. Thomas " and the "175655" is the 75655th car built that year and all mustang were built in dearborn so its not a mustang engine.
