Got a ? on hot days it seems that my car likes to load up and will back fire through the coldair intake, it dosnt do that all the time, but on hot days it becomes really sluggish when u push the gas it can feel that it wants to go but it just chokes on it self, i had this happen last year it was the Temp control sensor, changed that again and didnt do anything so its gota be somthing else causing havok with me, It only does this on really hot days on nice cool days or on the way to work in the AM, it runs like raped APE!! ~ if anyone has any Ideas that would be fantastic, thanks guys,

how do i check the tps? i just had a new motor in it and the guy put it to the stock timing mark

do a search but you get a volt meter and you tap into 2 of the 3 wires on top of the tps. you loosen it up some and turn it to you get .98 to 1.0v at idle stock should be set at .94 at idle

ok well ill have to try that and see what that reads, maybe that will be the prob, its just weird that it only acts up on hot days,

i would check the timing anyways even though you say its stock it can move trust me on that and i would advance it since when you check it

i dont have a MAF im SD but i had the TB off and i cleaned it and it was fine,
