advice about suspension
i have a 1990 lx and the suspension is all stock except that i have torsion bar.
I plan to put 275 mickey thompson on the back. what do i have to do to get that car sticky (lowering inch, shocks). i read some thread about people who lowered their car and can not put large tire because off the wing?

Wing has nothing to do with tire size....
What does your car have done to it??
The best thing you can do for traction is stickier tires.
If you have aftermarket front suspension, make sure you get aftermarket caster/camber plates and have the car aligned.

Well, when you do lower your car, make sure you get caster camber plates, otherwise you will start chewing up front tires.
FYI. I'm running lowering springs (only about an inch) and also running 275/40/zr17 tires. I did not have much "wing"... wheel well... clearance issues. However in certain, rare, grade-changing instances it would rub. So I used my adjustable LCA perches to lift up the rear about a quarter of an inch. Never rubs.
