Default Removing Fuel lines help please

Ok guys, Im switching my car to carb and I am in the process of pulling apart the motor. I wanna remove the fuel rails, where can I disconnect these from the fuel lines. Or are they all one peice?

You will need a special tool to disconnect the fuel rails from the lines. Autozone or Advanced carries them.

Don't bother with the fuel disconnect tool if you're converting to a carb. Just cut the lines where-ever you want to, you're gonna have to cut them anyways. Save yourself some hassle. If you're removing it from the body just drill the rivets out, from the fuel filter to the engine bay comes out in one piece.

yep just cut them i cut mine right at the fitting for the fuel rail

you fools don't tell him to cut the lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's in my neck of the woods and I may be interested in buying his fuel lines from tank to engine bay if they are not rusty

I just pulled mine out yesterday...unfortunately they were rusted out at the rear of the car

Shoulda told me you needed some before I pulled mine out. I restored my car so they were brand new. When I did the engine swap they went straight into the garbage to make way for the 8AN braided line, they only had 3000kms on them. Would've just given them to you minus shipping.
