You're pulling both drain plugs when you change the oil, right?
i haven't changed the oil on this car yet since i bought it. i've had it for about a month now, put about 1500 miles on it, and added oil twice. i'm pretty sure i'm reading the dipstick wrong (it's messy when you pull it) and i shouldn't be adding.
i plan to change the oil next week, and yes, i'll be doing it properly
How do you read the dipstick? Do you pull it right out and read it or do you pull it out, wipe it off, stick it back in and then pull it out and read it?

pull, wipe, pull, read. it just always has a bit of oil on the edge that rides up the length of it, making it hard to read the actual level... sometimes it looks like it's down to "add" and sometimes it doesn't. i'm just not familiar with the car yet.
check ur pcv cause it could be letting oil into the intake. also ur engine creates the most vaccum on decel so it might be suckin in oil on decel and burning it when ur at a stop.
