Default Roller Rockers

Hey Vfast, I just baught a set of stock heads with 40k fewer miles than my heads for the exhaust porting you told me about. My question is this:</P>

Woud it be worth it to get roller rockers with a stock cam, and if so, what ratio? I've decided that I don't want to get a cam with my engine, a little scared of the miles it has. Thanks in advance for your input.</P>

tc..the 1.72 rocker would be great..they bolt right in but your valve cover will have the be slightly modified so they won't hit. that's way we all have dremel tools right?*L* I have even seen people use 1.6 on the intake and 1.7's on the exhaust..they also made now and extra thick vc gasket to help with and clearance problem with I use with my 600 lift cam...remember to gasket match the intake holes on the heads. If you have a valve job have them back cut the seat to increase flow. that stock cam with work great with good flowing heads..if you need anymore help let me know

OK, sounds good, as I have a buddy at work with a full shop. One question though, what does back cut mean? And can you do it without a press? Oh yeah, does it matter whether I get 3/8 or 7/16 mounts?</P><edited><editID>tchamber</editID><editDate>37940.6479513889</editDate></edited>
