probably should with stock injectors

you will be fine. I have the same CAI in my car. a bigger MAF is usually needed for bigger injectors

ok well i have heard the injecters are color coded?? mine are an off orange color are those stock?

SonicBlueFiveSlow 08-11-2009 11:11 PM

ok i may just buy a aftermarket maf it couldnt hurt anyways

SWAGGER31 08-12-2009 01:35 AM

I was wondering the same thing as the OP. Reason being I picked up some suspension parts from a guy a week ago and we were just BSing about stangs. He said if you get a CAI you should really get an aftermarket MAF(even for #19) because the way the CAI turns. We were talking about fendermount at this time. Is he crazy or is he on to something? He also said stay away from the C&L because its a "Mickey Mouse" way of doing a MAF. What do you guys think?

5.0mustangowner 08-12-2009 11:54 AM

umm well i have had several people tell me that the stock maf is not cut out to let the engine breathe... he has told me that putting a aftermarket maf is the best thing to do with any CAI
