Default next step for performance

so 95 gt convertible has a cai, 75mm throttle body, magnaflow cat-back and bbk o/r x-pipe....i want to give my car more power...but idk what the next modification should be....should it be shorty headers? or should i save the money and get my intake manifold done with 30 lb fuel injectors with a tune?....should i take a little step...or a leap...and how much of a power gain should i expect from each scenario

if you have any other suggestions for performance mods.....they are appreciated...just tell me what it will do for my driving experience and how much it usually costs

trying to stay under 2k

Unless you're gonna go forced induction, 30lb injectors aren't necessary, not to mention you need a MAF calibrated for the injectors.

Do a set of gears, best bang for you buck.

I think headers and a gear are a good start, did not see any mention of suspension work or chasis stiffening but have not owned a 1995 vert so I'm not sure if it is a standard mod. Should be able to do all three for well under 2000.

gears and subframes will make a world of difference.

no need for 30# injectors with your mods. even with h/c/i 24s are enough

gears $100-175 (around $500 for install)

maximum motorsports full length subframe connectors $115 (have a buddy or decent shop weld them in)

headers $100-300 depending on what you can find.

Gear, headers, good tires and a 100 hp dry nitrous kit. Best bang for the buck. Cost will be about $1,650 for some decent new equipment (much less for used), takes a weekend to install and can reduce your 1/4 mile e.t. by 1.5 to 2 seconds.
