i followed the instruction step-by-step and it still didnt work it got even worse the cable is really tight to just get the clutch disengaged enough to get it into gear so i called my uncle and he said my clutch is shot so thats why i have been having problems the clutch is broken. he thinks 1 of the springs broke or came out when i was pushing in the clutchwith the cable to tight. When i said i had the cable tight to have the clutch disengage at the top well i guess i pushing the clutch to far and broke it so im going to get a new one tommorrow

thats why whenever you do any kind of tranny work or
rebuilding always put in a new clutch at the same time to avoid
problems like this later on down the line

i got the driveshaft and the tranny out of the car and when i looked inside the bellhousing i found the throwout bearing just sitting in the bottom of the it. Would this make it hard to push the clutch in and out

what does the throwout bearing do?

i looked at the clutch and it looked new so i just put a new throwout bearing since i found my other one in the bottom of the bellhousing and it looked like it fixed the problem
