Default What emissions stuff should my car have?

Its an 83'

Apparently the ministry of transportation is pulling over modified cars like mad and fining roughly $400 per missing emissions control.

So what all should this car have on it, they go by what the car should have and not by the engine thats in it.

So do I need to put on some "working" cats and a "good" egr?

83 had smog, egr and cat, pcv, and Air cleaner warm up valves via dual snorkal heat risers from manifolds..all egr stuff and smog were controlled via vaccum switching valves that were temp controlled

Thanks,

the car started life as a 2.3 so I will have to see what they check for, if its what the car had or if they will check as if its a 302, or being a blig block if its just in a grey area where I can get away with less...
