Default timing cover gasket

my 94 gt is leaking coolant right behind the timing cover. i was wondering what all is entailed in changing the gasket out? and the gasket set that i bought has like 7 gaskets in it. whats the deal with that. i though it was just one gasket

Well if you got the timing set, it will come with probably four w/p gaskets (as there are a couple different w/p's, and they take 2 gaskets) a timing cover gasket, and the seal. To get it off, remove the W/P if you feel like it, I would to replace the gasket on that while I'm at it, if you don't want to, just remove the 4 long bolts on each side of the pump. Balancer, oil pan bolts and the rest of the timing cover bolts and it's out.
