I am doing a 2.3l to 5.0 swap and have a question regarding the computer. I sourced a 92 5.0 HO motor, wiring harness and ecu and then got a T5 manual tranny from a friend. Now the motor, harness and ecu came from an automatic transmission car will this make any difference if I am using a manual tranny? Do I need an ecu and wiring from a manual car? Let me know I have been searching and have found lots of useful information but am scratching my head on this bit.

Oh and also the car this is going into is a 92LX

you can use the ecu for an auto tranny in the 5 spd
