Default h pipe problem

alright i got a major crisis... people made it specifically clear that a short mac H pipe would fit bbk long tube headers... well mine didnt... first the 2 pipes of the h pipe didnt go into eachother.. so i had to find a way to make the hole bigger for the smaller hole to fit into.. after i fixed that the h pipe wouldnt fit.. it was off by like an inch or 2 inches.. i dont no whether its the h pipe or the headers.. im real upset.. can any1 help
