Default Idle issue on startup

94 Mustang GT 5.0L

Good evening all, have a new problem.

I posted earlier about a vacuum line I could not find the end to. Well I managed to get it on and also replaced the vacuum line which controls my a/c vents.

Now when I start it up for a couple of seconds the idle bounces between 1200-800. It settles down and usually the first time I try to get going the car will stall. After I have driven for about a minute it idles normally and does not seem to have any issues.

Any input is appreciated.

A little more info on the matter.

Also when I shift into reverse or drive it will drop the rpms and have a tendency to stall until I get moving. From a dead stop after a start it does this.

And that's all typical of the drop in RPM when I change gears?

Yes I do have a BBK CAI. How would I go about checking the mixture?

no i meant for idling not changing gears, o2 sensors will jack with you if ones broken or both, but before you buy parts do a koeo test and pull codes it will tel you what sensors are busted
