Engine Setup, for my 1988 GT
I'm about to do a little engine rebuild on my mustang.
I have set my mind on the following things.
331 stroker kit, with bore and hone of the block. 4.030"
Electromotive tecGT ECU with distributor-less ignitions, fully programable and a guy who can do this.
And think I like BBK ssr-i intake, high rpm
The problem is, which heads and what cam will do the job for this.
I've also looked at edelbrock Victor jr. heads, 210 cc intake, but i'm not sure if this is the way to go, and with which cam to go with. I wont to be able to drive on street, so not to high rpm cam, but again to macth ssr-i intake.
I have BBK long tube headers and x-pipe, with no cats (street legal i Europe) and MagnaFlow cat back.
I have been looking at both the Holley systemMAX II and the trick flow Twisted Wedge, top end kits, this being the easy and maybe the cheapest solution.
Which way should i go, both with "bang for the buck" and "money is not problem"
