i have done it a million times and from the bottom i use a 1/4 drive ratchet with a 6" extension and a deep well socket. it will put you at the edge of the starter so you will have room to turn the ratchet. you can see the bolt thru the hole in the body that someone else mentioned.

all this over a starter bolt? really? get a 2ft extension on a 3/8 drive and put a 9/16 socket on it. done.

yeah its not that hard. no you dont have to remove anything just get the extension and socket and take the bolt out. its easy.

ok i got it all done, whoever suggested the 6" extension.... props to you lol i got the top bolt off and got the new one in right away and everythings good thanks alot guys
