how do i adjust stock rockers

You don't, they're pedestal and non adjustable. If they're loose then something is wrong, worn cam lobes, collapsed lifters, bent pushrods etc.

ok the reason i asked is because like i posted a diff thread i bought a short block and it came with aftermarket push rods and everytime i tightend them down it was pushing down on the valve spring and then i came to realise the push rods must have been for a/m rockers or something cause they where to long
