Default 24# or 30# Injectors?

What size injectors do you think would be best for my combo, I am planning on a mild street 331 with AFR 165 Heads (about 10:1 compression) and Mild Cam (need to pass Emissions), GT-40 Tubular intake, 70 MM Throttle Body, CAI, Exhaust and 3:73 Gears. It will be N/A but wouldn't rule out a S/C down the road. I'm kind of torn between both injector sizes so your thoughts and experiences would help. Thanks

I'd go with 30# injectors...

I'd go with 30's as well. From what I've gotten on here it's 24's for an hci, 30's for a stroker, 42's for any forced induction. And so on.

It totally depends on the power goals. Figure out what your REALISTIC horsepower goal is, then calculate from that the fuel consumption in pounds per hour, and then figure injector size from there, and don't forget to account for duty cycle.

thats actually way overkill

24's are fine on your stroker, but if toss the blower on than you'll need the 30's possibly... so might as well go 30# now

there's no way a 331 with a good hci and a blower is only going to need 30's. well, maybe if you jack the fuel pressure way up.

if you run those heads 24s will be fine cause it wont make sh*t for power. my first 331 with afr165s had no power up top, it was awful. now have a 331 with 205 heads and it runs great.
