Default Camshaft or Heads??

I only have enough money to do one of them , which would be the best to get first or can you even do that? Which ever you think is better to get please tell me what i need to buy with each. Also is a camshaft easy to install? I will be doing this with a experienced person i just want to know. Im not looking to take my car to the strip its just a street car, i have basic mods , headers, air intake, offroad x pipes, flowmasters, and bbk intake manifold , UPR undrive pulleys

What kind of heads are you talking about? A good set of heads are way more than a cam...

Well first off like already said the price range with the 2 are completely different usually. I would look into getting some subframe connectors for that vert though. Your car will handle ALOT better, even just on street duty.

You replied before I did on it. You can get away with a set of heads and not upgrading the cam yet but for just a little extra that cam will make your motor come ALIVE! If you get the right one at least.

do the heads, a cam with the stock heads is pointless.

your going to need the heads, head gaskets, intake gaskets, header gaskets, and head studs or bolts

Just save up and do h/c/i all together as a package, that way you can match everything up and it will save you hassle and wasted money.

no point in doing a cam as you'll have to swap springs on the heads to match cam requirements, best to save a little more so you can do both at once
