Default Central Coast Mustang 327, 342?

i've been looking at purchasing a stroked 302 and came across this place. im interested in buying a short block whether it be a 331, 327, 342, etc , etc. I've been to the CHP and DSSracing site and those look cool but this place is selling long block 327's and 342's with forged internals and quality parts for under 4grand. any feedback on this place and is the 342 more similar to the 331 with its reliablity or the 347 with short pistons, ring issues, oil burning deal?

oh here's their website http://shop.centralcoastmustang.net/...cfm?Category=1

well a 327 is what a 331 is that isnt .030 over... to get a 331 you need to be .030 which makes you start with a 306
well a 342 is what a 347 is that isnt .030 over... to get a 347 you need to be .030 which makes you start with a 306

so they are just starting with a fresh 302 instead of a rebored 306

Yes, I have feedback, don't purchase an engine from Central Coast mustang... They used to be a reputable place, but now it is under new ownership, and they hire a bunch of kids that can bolt things together, so they make a bunch of engines, but they're not very good quality.. I live 30 miles from them, believe me not the best idea...

sick, sick. so the 331's and 347's are basically bored over twice and stroked and the 327 and 342 is once and stroked? or is my thinking way off? thanks.

damn that sucks, i got folks that live in long beach and i was gonna go check them out. you wouldnt buy a shortblock from them even if you were gonna make sure everything was good to go? i probably could build the engine from scratch but im just lazy
