5.0 starter same as 2.3 Starter?
Hey i was wondering if the 5.0 starter is the same as the 4 cylinder 2.3?

I would go online to an autoparts store and check parts numbers to see if they are the same. If they are the same number then the starters are the same otherwise they are different.

I read a while back that a guy did a 5.0 conversion and said he was using the ole 4 cyl. starter. I almost did it myself, they fit ok and 2 of the 3 bolt holes line up fine. I chickened out, Paranoid I guess.
