Default BBK Air Intake Kit, Horsepower?

At the moment, i have a stock 1990 5.0 LX. I'm wanting to start putting upgrades. I'm looking at a BBK Air Intake Kit. Will it add much horsepower, if any at all?

It won't add to much.I'd go with gears or a set of pulleys. Keep the stock pulleys though in case you want to add a blower down the road someday.

Start with the free mods, remove your air silencer bump your timing up to 14 degrees. Gears would be a great first modification. What direction are you going with this car?

go for the gold, screw all the small disappointing mods and go for heads, cam , intake and gears and exhaust

the stock intake is a cai, why buy another one. take the air silencer out and put a k&n filter in the stock box. add a little timing and get some gears.
