Not to hijack this thread but how would you know that the drains are open and if they aren't how do you correct it. I have a 90 with sunroof and it leaks badly at the sunvisor.
Thanks
Duke

Take off your sunroof. Carefully pour water from a bottle into the drain. Make sure the car is level and water is flowing into every drain hole (there is one on every corner of the sunroof housing). If you see water coming out in front of the rear wheels and behind the front wheels, on both sides of the car, you don't have any clogs. If any one of them is not dispensing water, use compressed air and blow the junk out of that hole.

I had the same issue on my non sunroofed hatch so I bent my window frames to seal up.also one thing to look at too is your door hinges my hinge bushings are shot so I still get a water leak above my side view mirror.so I got to do that.another way to find a leak around the door is use a flashlight and were ever you see light is a leak point.
