Default H pipe or X pipe

This is what I read in a old musle mustang and fast ford magazine.
H pipe are realy good for torque and bottom end vs the x pipe is better for horse power wich is better for top end. But I really think is the tie breaker is what exhaust tone are you looking for, Raspy or Deep / throghty.

horse power & torque are related. Horsepower is just including the engine rpm so it factors in that at higher rpm you're burning more air/fuel. That's why diesels typically will have a very high torque # vs hp #. & why 4 cylinders typically have more hp than torque, they're designed with higher rpm being the efficiency point. A better way to describe it would be the H offers more low end hp, the X more high end hp.

there's no way you could feel the difference in power between an X and an H pipe, or even a Prochamber for that matter.
