Question Can a 94 gt tun with 24# inj. w/stock comp?

I have a 94 mustang gt that i just bought from a guy. the car would not idle. it had a gt 40 upper and lower, professional products throttle body and neck adapter. 95 cobra mass air meter 24# injectors bbk cold air kit bbk shorties and the stock T4M0 computer. i pulled the gt 40 intake off and put a stock one back on. the question i am wondering is will the car run with the 24# injectors in it still. i know you could get by with this set up on a 93 or older with the a9l computer. i do not want to change the computer so please dont suggest that. i just want to know if the car will run with the injectors that are in it.
Thanks

Try running engine control test and see what codes you have. You just removed a good intake and downgraded. Intake may not be cause of idle woes.

unless the T4M0 EEC is chipped, or unless you install a calibrated MAF, the car will NEVER run right with 24#ers

not even a pre93 with a A9L

The mass air meter is cali. for 24# injectors it is out of a 95 cobra. i just wanted the intake for another car is why i took it off. the stock one that is going on the car now has been gasket matched but still not the gt 40. i took the mass air meter off of my 94 cobra to see if that was the cause but it did not affect it. I have heard that the professional products throttle body leaks air around the butterfly bar and causes it to surge?

dude.. look in my sig. Do you REALLY think I dont know wtf im talking about.

The T4M0 ECM has a high and low injector slope of ~19
the J4J1 ECM (cobra ECM) has a high and low injector slope of 24.84

the MAF's are exactly the same, the difference is in the tune IN the ECM.

Now, I'm a betting man... And I'd bet MY cobra, for YOUR cobra, that if you remove the J4J1 EEC out of your cobra, and stick it in the GT (with the 24# injectors) that it will INSTANTLY run better

(FYI... I tune EEC-IV ECM's)

Listen up and listen good NOOB..........I'm gonna say this once since you don't wanna hear it from the guy who knows the answer =addermk2.........NO your car won't run right with 24's, anyone who knows these cars knows the calibration for 24's is housed with in the ecm, SO INSTALL the correct ecm or get a tune, NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS, so please stop turning a deaf ear on the answer cause you don't wanna hear it, yes we may not tell people what they wanna hear but would you rather we tell you what you wanna hear and waste your money with misinfo??
