Default big block ford?

What is an A460 i am thinking about building a big block and i keep reading about A460 blocks and heads. just some info or a link would be great.

Dude, unless you're building north of 1,000hp an A460 block is a huge waste of money. An A460 block and heads will cost a rather substantial sum of money. That's some VERY expensive racing.

Normal 460 blocks have put out 800-1000+ hp for many many passes, the A460 block is an aftermarket block that takes up where they leave off, I think they are about 2000 dollars for the bare block.

the 514 heads are ment for a large cube stroker. theres some semi decent stock heads that can be used to make decent power out of the 460 too

Build a blower 347, it will fit much easier than a 460, weigh a lot less, have better response and make just as much power.

No i would rather do something different, there are a few guys here in my home town that have turbo and supercharged 347 331.
