well a C&L doesnt like a bend in its air flow. it will give you idle issues. this is why alot of ppl with C&L rock either a concial[which breaths hot air and fan wash] or a stock air box with panel filter

the stock air induction system(intake tube, maf, TB, manifold, all work great with the stock heads, and cam, buy if you ever plan on replacing the heads, or the intake manifold, or port the intake bigger maf and TB will make a diff. if not dont waste your money.

Pro-M but they arent around anymore. or the company that took over Pro-M. if not youre stuck with C&L . also you arent really seeing a real gain over teh stock box with a CAI

dude let me help you out here I do this on all my N/A cars.....I use a 76mm C/L with a moroso tube and use a larger filter put in the fenderwell..never use a cone filter in the engine bay as it's hot and like said before you get a air wash by the fan over the filter this is why sometimes you see a shield in front of it..... I also pull the 4" plastic cap on the side of the fenderwell to keep air moving in the well.. also keep chrome to a min. on the engine or intake tract because of the heat factor.......also find a used 65mm T/B to help with flow and for future mods
