Default first foxbody build

hey everyone im buildin my first mustang its and 85 notchback. ive got a 302 with 351w heads offenhauser portosonic intake and e303 roller cam. i am planing on do a 5 lug swap any ways but for now im jst worrying about getting a rearend that will limit me from destroying the tires off the line. i know some mustangs come out with posi units and i was wondering what years i could use to just bolt under the car for now. also i was wondering what the biggest tires(both street and slick) i could fit under the back without any major fabrications. it still has the stock suspension. please keep in mind im 15 and have little to no money. thank you

If your 15 with little to no money then you wont beable to do half the things you are planning. The rear end your looking for will be a 8.8 or a 9 inch ford. The 8.8 will bolt right up, not to sure about a 9. And i think the 8.8 rear ends are in all 87-93 models. Btw posi isnt a ford term. Your looking for a limited slip i believe. And get 3.73 - 4.10 gears. They seem to be the most popular.

im pretty sure 275/60's are the biggest tire you can get in there without modding, if your getting a new rea end, you might as well get the 5 lug axels, then you might aswell get the rest of the 5 lug swap lol so save up

Read my sig. Id take your time, that way, when your done, you can be proud of what you did. You dont want to have to build it twice.

There is alot of bad information out there, along with the good,so ask alot of questions, don't take idiotic responses to heart, careful who you trust and most importantly have fun.
