rain lately? heater core if no weather. couple leak potentials if weather played a role. check window seal, sunroof seal (if applicable), weather stripping in door. your cowl will erode eventually have have pinpoint holes that allow water. my windshield frame is a little warped, therefore doesn't seal up well and lets water in right at the spot were you can read the vin number

Defiantly post what the car has,like a sunroof and what year it is. Do you have pics you can post of the wet area?
