Start the car... immediately it revs
Hey guys, every once and a while I experience this;
I start the car and immediately the car revs high.. then dies back down and is just fine.
I was curious, what causes this?

i forget the name of the part but it is the sensor that bolts to the throttle body. my old 88 gt used to do the same thing then i changed the sensor and wala everything was smooth. you can get the part at a pepboys or discount auto parts for around $80.00 if i can remember what the thing is called ill let you know but if you just look at your throttle body you will see it. it is a 10min fix 2 screws and i connector
