Default Dizzy wont sit flush on block

in my last post i changed my oil pump and had problems... I didn't have the pump shaft in properly, but i fixed that. Now my dizzy will not sit down flat on the block it has about 1/8 of an inch space between the dist. and the block. I wiggled it around and it will not go all the way down. What the h*ll is the problem????

Pull the dizzy out and turn the shaft by hand with a 1/4 inch socket

even easier... put a 15/16" socket on the crank bolt and turn it while pushing down on the disty

also, you put the oil pump driveshaft in from the bottom.... right?

yeah if you dropped it in from the top and didn't take the little clip off it won't sit down all the way.
