Default Car Rides Very Rough..

Hey guys what do i need to upgrade for my car to cruise better over bumps, sewers ect,.. My car is so rough its like driving a wagon with square wheels!

Anyways i know "suspension" but what exactly do i need?

Am i ever gonna beable to get my car to feel like a newer car when going over bumps and rough roads or will it always feel like im in flintstones car?

These cars ride rough even stock. I went with eibach pro kit springs and tokico shocks and it was about same as my warn stockers for harshness. If you want a softer suspension then go stock if harder but more performance go aftermarket.

check your ball joints and control arm bushings.

Yes, check for worn parts. You probably have binding somewhere.

If the original poster is complaining about the ride. I would NOT go with polyurethane.

Stock rubber is more compliant.

Question to the original poster. Have you even been in another fox Mustang.
Are you saying yours is worse than another stocker?

What do you have for tires and tire pressure?

worn struts would make the car ride like ***. My car is lowered and it doesn't ride too rough but if you have stock springs it shouldn't ride that bad.

true, rubber does give more leeway, but I do love that stiff-ness poly gives I replaced the sway bar bushings and endlinks with poly and the difference was nice
