Default aod leak

does felpro make a pan gasket for an aod? if so, whats the part number? couldnt find it on summit. i just did a pan gasket swap on my aod because it was leaking and the new gasket sucks. its leaking oil so fast the tranny will be drained in the next couple days. i have no idea how the gasket could seal so poorly. it was some cheap no name brand thin rubber thing.

also, approx. how many quarts of oil come out when you drain the pan. i know a few quarts are held in the converter, filter, lines and cooler, but i need to know how many i should buy to refill. my last tranny fried and burned oil onto the dipstick, its unreadable now

and if felpro doesnt make one, what do you guys recommend? im almost ready to just make my own gasket from silicone couldnt be any worse then the crap pepboys game me

make sure the bolt holes aren't tapered up towards the sealing surface. this happens from over torquing. completely flat surface, completely clean surface. both the pan and trans mating surface should be shiny new before a gasket install.

Why not get a new dipstick? You've spent all that money on your car and you can't tell how much tranny fluid you have in it or lack there of?
