so i just got done working on the stang for the night, its 215 in the morn, and ive been fighting this freaking oil pan gasket since like 7oclock, and so far its still got me whooped, well not so much the gasket but getting the pan out itself, talk bout a dumb design, anybody else ever replaced this gasket and had problems?

unless you got the motor picked up a few inches, you're not going to get it out without taking the oil pump off and letting it fall into the pan. if i remember correctly you're going to find a bracket holding it to the #3 main cap as well.

oh i have the motor jacked way up, it just got to late and i aint got to getting the oil pump off
