Default Pro Comp electronics aluminum heads

I was wondering if anyone has tried a set of these or has had some sort of personal experience with them. They seem like a good bang for the buck, think they are better than gt40's? Honestly i cant see how they could be really any bad, maybe they would need some porting to make them flow better if anything. Anyone have some input?

they are junk. their flow numbers are crap, the components they come with are ****...

for the money, you can find a pair of used name brand heads and do alot better for yourself. I scooped my Canfields for $650

Pro-comp is a Chinese junk.I got one of there belt drives in a trade for some parts, tried to put it on and the cam pin was drilled in the wrong location ,got that fixed and then had to cut the belt tensioner bolt off so the balancer would turn.I just found out today after months of running hot, that the coolant passages don't line up properly causing low coolant flow. So,I wouldn't take that crap for free.

In the latest issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords they used a set of them and seamed happy with them. They got 399hp with a cam and carb set up with them. Just my .02

Did they use the assembled or bare heads? Could you find the article online if possible?

I can't find the article on the Internet. But it is the latest MM&FF issue. It's actually an interesting article. 400 hp for $1000.

Had my hands on one set of heads, they were crap. Aside from being crap they are copies of some elses work and I have trouble supporting that.
