Default hood problem.

Well, not really a hood problem, as I think the hood is fine...

I live in Panama City, FL... and yesterday Hurricane Dennis did its work... I had left for georgia on friday, and parked my car someplace safe, away from trees and whatnot... I never thought that someone would ruin my perfect plans by removing my hood pins.

Anyway, yeah, with no pins holding the hood down and hurricane force winds whipping through the place, you can imagine what kind of damage was done. The hood looks like it might be okay, though it is probably bent/twisted. Its the piece behind it that is totally ruined.

Does anyone know how much those are to replace, or how much $$$ im looking at for a fix here? Thats basicly all that was hurt, some paint was scraped off the hood itself, and a small spot on the roof, but thats basicly it.

i would try www.50resto.com if they dont have it "depending
how bad the damage is" you may need to get a skin from
another mustang and weld it on.

Are you talking about your cowl panel,if so i would just try to find a parts car local, then repaint it,probaly the cheapest way to go.

Yeah, the cowl panel, with the plastic black grill on it... its bent and cracked to hell. (the metal part, the plastic part is obliterated as well)

From what I saw when I looked real quick, it looks like that whole metal part is actually part of the firewall? or did i just miss a seam somwhere?
