Default Neutral Drive Switch question

So my car has never ran right, and i decided to pull codes. With KOEO it threw a code for every sensor and circut on the sig return wire (map, evp, tps circut, ect, act, nds circut...), with KOER it will not throw codes (mil on) and with the clutch depressed the idle will drop down to like 1200 or so, but as soon as you let it out the idle jumps up to 1700-2000 rpm. So i ran a ground wire from the sig return on the nds to a ground, cleared the KAm, and pulled codes again. I got 67 (nds circut failure) and 34 (evp circut failure). I started it and it idles pretty well, idle about 1000-1100 (have a lumpy cam) with no mil, but it will still not throw codes (not even 111). so i turned it off again and EVP was in KAM. So kinda a dumb question, but is the nds an actual switch that can be replaced like the BOO? And what in the world is the other plug on the clutch peddle (ces?)? I heard it was to disable the cruise control when you push the clutch in so you dont over rev the engine, but i am not sure if thats right. This is my second engine harness and i have tried two different computers (without the ground wire) and they all act the same. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated because i dont have any ideas left and im tired of my car wiring looking like a hack job. thanks.
oh yeah its an 89gt without cruise control
